Embodied Training Client’s Success Stories

 Why Me?

I can relate to what you're going through because, not long ago, I was in your shoes. What drew me to fitness in my own personal life was a desire to feel empowered. 8 years ago, I was in one of the deepest depressions of my life. My mental health has always been a struggle for me, and it was getting to a point where I was hitting rock bottom, where the pain was so intense that I was desperate for a way out. I felt guilty, ashamed, and had incredibly low self-esteem.

I was longing for meaning and purpose, to work hard at something and feel proud of myself, so I enrolled in a course at my university called Strength Training for Women. Each day I came in, a little nervous and intimidated, and each day I walked out feeling a bit more strong and confident in my body. It opened up a whole new world of improving my mental and physical health through exercise, healthy eating and mindfulness. This commitment to my health, the dedicated time I spent in my body focused on paying as much attention to my physical sensation as possible, gave me the greatest gift I have ever received: self-confidence. I was finally embodying the version of myself I always wanted to and knew I could be, and I started to feel proud of who I saw in the mirror looking back at me each day.

I completed my Bachelor's degree in Public Health and became certified as a Personal Training Specialist and a Nutrition Coach. During my Public Health studies, I became passionate about helping older adults and seniors improve their quality of life and maintain independence and vitality. I have had the privilege of helping dozens of clients over the past 6 years increase bone density and muscle mass, improve balance and stability, and achieve overall strength and mobility.

I have learned that it is not only the knowledge that my clients benefit from, it's the guidance, accountability, and commitment involved in my coaching programs that really guarantees their results.
